At only 17-years-old, Norwegian singer and songwriter Emilie has already racked up over 1,000,000 views on her YouTube channel, advanced to the semi-finals of Norway's Got Talent, and captured the attention and praise of American Idol producer and host Ryan Seacrest. She also performed on national television show Waschera after TV2 sought her out after seeing one of her earlier performances.
Displaying a love for singing since before she was two-years-old, Emilie beat out nearly two-thousand other children when Danish directors held auditions for the musical Annie during its run on Sentrum Scene in Oslo, Norway. She has since worked with world-renowned production team Stargate and appeared in sold-out performances of Sound of Music. Emilie was even invited to perform at the international “Imagine Festival” after advancing to the 2013 finals of the popular UKM competition in Norway.
Emilie is also a big believer in giving back to those less fortunate. She devotes some of her free time to performing at concerts benefiting the White Lily Foundation, which builds homes for orphaned children in Burma and Thailand. To date, shows Emilie has been involved with have raised nearly 3,000,000 NOK (almost $400,000) to assist children and refugees!
